Project Lionheart featured my story with David Hoe as part of its national storytelling initiative. Seeing that work presented in public spaces was surreal, but the part that mattered to me was the reminder that community work is only possible because many people choose to show up when it counts.
The feature was also a good moment to restate something I believe strongly: when the next crisis comes, the way through it will still depend on whether we notice people around us and step in early.
